About MDM Buyer

MDM Buyer is an independent, vendor-neutral resource for IT professionals evaluating mobile device management (MDM) and unified endpoint management (UEM) platforms.

What We Cover

We review and compare MDM/UEM platforms across 50 features in 10 categories, covering everything from device configuration and app management to identity integration and automation extensibility. Our coverage spans:

  • Platform reviews — In-depth assessments of each platform with category-level scoring, pros and cons, pricing, and OS support details.
  • Head-to-head comparisons — Side-by-side breakdowns of how platforms stack up on the features that matter to your use case.
  • Best-for recommendations — Curated picks for specific scenarios: Apple-first, Microsoft-centric, multi-platform, rugged/industrial, budget-friendly, and MSP.
  • Pricing transparency — Published pricing ranges, licensing models, trial availability, and minimum seat requirements.

Why We Built This

Choosing an MDM platform is a high-stakes decision. The wrong choice means months of migration pain, wasted budget, and frustrated IT teams. Yet most comparison resources are either vendor-funded, superficial, or locked behind analyst paywalls.

We built MDM Buyer to give IT decision-makers the structured, transparent data they need to make confident purchasing decisions — without the noise, without the sales pitch, and without the paywall.

Editorial Independence

MDM Buyer does not accept payment from vendors for reviews, rankings, placement, or favourable scoring. Our assessments are based on documented capabilities, hands-on evaluation where possible, and publicly available information.

We may earn revenue through affiliate links or advertising in the future. If and when we do, it will be clearly disclosed and will never influence our editorial assessments or platform scores.

Our Approach

We believe in transparency. Our methodology is fully documented, our scoring criteria are public, and we welcome corrections from vendors and practitioners. If we got something wrong, tell us — we'll investigate and update.
